If The Economy Is “Growing”—Who’s Really Getting Rich?

Let’s talk about the elephant in the room, every year, government officials and economists boast about "economic growth," showcasing numbers, percentages, and elaborate pie charts that paint a picture of progress.
But take a walk through the neighborhoods. Ask the average man, woman, small business owner, or unemployed youth, does your life feel like it’s getting better?
Do you feel like you’re a part of this so-called growth?
The brutal truth is that, the majority of people aren’t growing with the economy, they’re sinking.

Growth for Who?

When governments discuss GDP growth, foreign investment, or booming tourism, they are not referring to you.
They’re talking about big corporations, massive hotels, foreign investors, and political insiders who have access to government incentives, tax breaks, and sweetheart deals, these are the ones getting the "growth."
The average citizen? He’s left behind, His wages remain stagnant, His bills go up, His cost of living increases, His taxes rise, His small business dies.
And he’s being told to clap for an economy that doesn’t work for him.
This isn't growth, this is exploitation dressed up in a suit and tie.

Government Aid, But Only for the Elites

Let’s be clear, if you're a multinational company, a hotel chain, or a foreign investor, the government will roll out the red carpet for you.
They’ll waive taxes, offer subsidies, and pump millions into infrastructure around your business.
But if you're a local farmer, a corner shop owner, or a struggling tradesman?
You're on your own.
This is not development, it’s a rigged game, the wealth of the land is being siphoned upwards, not spread around.
Every time the government boasts about a new foreign project or a “public-private partnership,” ask yourself, Where is the benefit for the people of the land?
Who owns it, who profits, who works the hardest and sees the least?

A Debt-Fueled Mirage

Now here’s the most insulting part of it all,  the same leaders who speak of economic growth are burying the country in debt.
They borrow billions, every single year, they claim it’s for development, Infrastructure,  Social programs, but where’s the evidence?
Do the schools look like billions went into them, do the hospitals reflect the massive loans taken in your name, are the roads, public transportation, or job opportunities improving in your area?
The answer is usually NO, so where is this money going?
It’s being funneled into corrupt contracts, inflated projects, “consultations,” and shady deals that benefit a few while the debt is dumped on the backs of the many.
This is generational theft, Your children and grandchildren will be paying for money that was stolen or misused today.

The People Must Wake Up, this illusion of growth must be shattered.

The economy is not growing for the people, it’s growing away from them, growth without shared benefit is not progress; it’s a scam.

We must ask the hard questions:
  • Who is benefiting from these loans and projects?
  • Why is there no accountability or transparency?
  • Why are the poor taxed into poverty while the rich are protected?
  • Why are foreign corporations treated better than local citizens?
The people have the right to demand answers. We are not beggars in our own land.
The wealth of the nation belongs to the people, not to corrupt leaders, not to foreign corporations, not to the ruling elite.
It’s time to stop celebrating numbers that don’t feed us.
It’s time to stop applauding growth that doesn't include us.
It’s time to rise up with truth, unity, and boldness and reclaim the nation’s wealth for the benefit of all, not just the few.
If the people are suffering while the leaders celebrate, that’s not growth, that’s betrayal.
