Stop Using God as a Convenient God: A Wake-Up Call for "Convenient Christians"

In today’s world of systems and people, many claim to walk with Jesus Christ, boldly declaring, “I am a Christian,” yet their lives bear no resemblance to the core values of Christ Himself.

Love, humility, sacrifice, truth, obedience, and righteousness, these are the pillars by which Christ lived and died. Sadly, some who profess to follow God display none of these traits.

Instead, they reflect a hollow version of faith, one rooted not in truth but in inconvenience.

Too often, people treat God like a fire extinguisher, only breaking the glass when life bursts into flames.

They cry out to Him in times of sickness, loss, or danger, but when the crisis passes, so does their so-called “faith.”

They forget that God is not just the God of the bad days, He is the God of every second, every minute, every hour, and every year, God's presence is not seasonal, His grace is not conditional.

Too many individuals act as if God only exists when they need something, even more dangerous are those who use the label “Christian” as a mask.

These individuals manipulate and deceive the innocent, using the holy name of Jesus as a tool for control.

This is not only deceptive, it is blasphemous, to say you walk with Christ while acting in ways that are completely contrary to His character is to mock the very sacrifice He made.

God is not a convenient God, he is not to be pushed aside until it's beneficial to pick Him back up again.

Worship, prayer, and praise are not optional accessories, they are the lifeblood of a true relationship with God.

If you only pray when you're in pain, only praise when you’ve been delivered, programe by evil systems, when pushed like a button, or worship when you feel like it, then you're not in a relationship with God, you’re using Him.

And using God is not only disrespectful, it’s dangerous.

God is not a yo-yo to be tossed and pulled at your will, He is not a genie in a bottle or a backup plan, He is God.

The Alpha and the Omega, The Great I Am,  The Sovereign Creator of all things.

His divinity demands reverence, not manipulation, His love invites surrender, not a strategy.

The Holy Trinity, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, is aligned in perfect unity to work all things for good.

Not our temporary, selfish good, but the eternal, righteous good that transforms lives and saves souls.

That kind of divine power is not to be trifled with or taken lightly.

The Bible says in John 4:24, “God is spirit, and His worshipers must worship in the Spirit and truth.” Not in trickery, not inconvenience, not when it feels good, but in truth.

So here’s the truth, If you're using God's name but not living His values, you’re not walking with Him, you’re walking in deception.

And if you're only calling on Him when you need Him, then you're not honoring Him, you’re using Him.

It’s time to stop playing with God, He is holy, He is just, He is love, but He is also a consuming fire.

Return to Him with a sincere heart, Worship Him in spirit and truth, Pray in every season, Praise through every storm, Give Him glory in everything, All honor and glory belongs to God, not man.

Let this be a reminder, that God is God for a reason, Treat Him like it, not like a toy to be played with.

God’s Existence Is Not Up for Debate to the Faithful.

There will always be individuals who, with limited understanding and unaware logic, attempt to debate the existence of God.

They speak from intellect but not from experience, seeking to challenge what they have never encountered personally.

Yet, those who walk with God, those with pure hearts, deep spiritual encounters, and undeniable experiences, do not waver.

For the faithful, God is not a theory, He is a reality, present in every answered prayer, every moment of peace, every miraculous turn.

They know to whom they belong, their faith isn’t built on argument, it’s built on relationship.

So, no debate, no doubt, and no logic born of ignorance can shake what has already been proven in their hearts, God is real, and He exists beyond question.

The unaware debate should not be a questioning of if God is real, it should be a logical self question of why you're not hearing God or experiencing him in ways that others do.

The questions should not be a biased inquiry debate to others, to try and convict their Faith, but to self, about your true spirititual growth and why you're not align, hearing, experiencing, have a relation with God.
