Healing yourself can be offensive to people that benefited from your brokenness


Healing oneself is a journey that can be both empowering and offensive to others. 

It is a process of self-discovery and growth, where one learns to let go of past wounds and traumas, and embrace a new sense of self.

 However, this journey can also be seen as a threat to those who have benefited from one's brokenness.

When we are broken, we often attract people who see us as vulnerable and in need of their help. 

They may offer us love, support, and even solutions to our problems. 

And in our state of brokenness, we may cling to these people and their help, believing that they are the only ones who can fix us. 

But what happens when we start to heal ourselves? When we no longer need their help or validation?

This can be a difficult transition for those who have been benefiting from our brokenness.

 They may feel offended and even betrayed by our newfound strength and independence. 

They may see it as a rejection of their efforts to help us and may even try to sabotage our healing process to keep us dependent on them.

This is because our healing challenges the dynamic of the relationship, where one person is the savior and the other is the victim. 

When the victim becomes the victor, it can be uncomfortable for the savior.

Not only can healing be offensive to those who have benefited from our brokenness, but it can also be threatening to our own identity. 

For so long, we have identified ourselves as broken, and our wounds have become a part of us. 

When we start to heal, we are essentially shedding a part of ourselves, and this can be scary. 

We may fear that without our brokenness, we will no longer be interesting or worthy of love and attention. 

This fear can hold us back from fully embracing our healing journey and may even lead us to self-sabotage.

However, it is important to remember that healing is not about pleasing others or conforming to their expectations. 

It is a deeply personal and necessary process for our own well-being and growth. 

We cannot let the opinions of others dictate our journey towards healing. 

We must learn to be comfortable with our own strength and independence, even if it means offending those who have benefited from our brokenness.

Moreover, our healing can also be a source of inspiration and hope for others. 

By showing that we are capable of overcoming our struggles and healing ourselves, we can inspire others to do the same. 

Our journey towards healing can become a beacon of hope for those who are still struggling and may even encourage them to start their own healing process.

Healing oneself can be both offensive and liberating. 

It challenges the dynamics of relationships and can be threatening to our own identity. 

But we must not let the opinions of others hold us back from our healing journey. 

We must learn to embrace our strength and independence, and in doing so, we may even inspire others to heal themselves. 

After all, true healing comes from within, and it is a journey that we must embark on for our own well-being and growth.
