While love is often celebrated as the highest virtue, it can also be manipulated, leading to feelings of betrayal and heartache when times get tough. 

This blog aims to shed light on the importance of recognizing the signs of genuine support, and how to protect yourself from those who may only love you in theory.

Love, in its truest form, is an unconditional promise to stand by someone, especially in their darkest hours. 


True love compels us to act with compassion, offer a helping hand, and uplift those we care about. However, not all love is authentic. 


There exists a shadowy side where expressions of love are merely performative—a facade worn to fulfill social expectations or to mask a deeper self-interest.

  1. Inconsistent Support: Those who genuinely love you will be there for you consistently. If someone disappears during your struggles but reappears during times of joy, it’s a clear sign of a conditional relationship.
  2. Self-Centered Behavior: Pay attention to how others react to your pain. If they steer conversations back to their troubles or seem uninterested in your struggles, they may care more about themselves than they do for you.

Sexual Harassment can manifest in various forms, including unwelcome advances, inappropriate touching, suggestive comments, or the sharing of explicit materials. 


It can occur between colleagues, superiors and subordinates, or even clients and customers.


Sexual Assault, on the other hand, is a more severe crime that involves any non-consensual sexual act or attempted sexual act. 


It is crucial to acknowledge that both harassment and assault are violations of personal and professional boundaries that can have lasting psychological effects on the victims.
